I started watching this series after i heard that the author died recently, just to check out what the series was like since it seemed fantasy based. the thing totally blew me away, but it also made me wonder if there were other people watching it as well and if so whether any of them are familiar with or have read the original works before they were adapted to anime and manga.

Never watched it, but now that I've just looked it up, I just might try it. I enjoy adventure stories~  blush1
